    gatti/ward....pure heart and class from both men, major wars, just when you think they couldn't give it anymore they would some how dig deep and find away.....brutal warfare.

    I can only name fights that I've actually watched. I'm not a fossil like yourself so excuse me for leaving out your precious fight from the 40's..

    Hard choice for sure. I went with SRL/Duran because when I was a kid this fight was HUGE for me.

    I put Marquez-Vazquez but if there is a thirth match Pac-Marquez even if its a fist round no contest their triology becomes the best for me :). The first two matches were classic and the level of boxing was so so high.

    Although the poll is one-sided, I think you have to accept that the majority of people who have voted are quite possibly not old enough to have witnessed some of the older fights on the list.

    Everything else with the possible exception of Bowe-Holy, is way,way back in the rear view mirror...
