there is only 1 fight where deontay fought a competetive fight v a decent opponent and that is stiverne. stiverne when motivated is a top ten fighter and deontay showed him respect / boxed using his assets of height /length/speed and boxed well showing he does have decent fundamentals if he just lkeep it basic / jab and straighten up his punches whilr looking for whats coming back this was the only fight in his resume where he has shown the WHAT IF factor of when he steps up with another top 10 fighter. stiverne cant have imprived with 1 fight in neary 3 years and he looks pudgy in the traing vids. since this fight wilder has progressed backwards and it seems to be getting worse against a basic fighter in washington his timing/jab/coordination was woefull . it could be he is not taking his opponents seriously as none had much power / molina maybe a little / made him complacent. he needs to get vack to hisa fundamentals but the way he has been posting and talking about himself recently suggests that how he is currently performing / is due to him being in love with his own power instead of just setting up punches / boxing long and let the kp come when it comes he is swinging hail marys from way back guessing something has got to land / but in the meantime he has lost countless rounds to fighters who should be cannon fodder no hopers. its why i picked ortiz to beat him / these tatics will not work v a better fighter and will maje him very vunerable to his opponents power. there is a good fighter in deontay trouble is i have only seen it once.
Povetkin was framed, he was cleared by VADA, but the WBC's first job is to protect Wilder, so they kept Povetkin away from him.............
