When forced there. I would bob and weave and pivot round them like Diaz did to Katsidis.

When im fit i use all options but when im unfit which is most of the time i just parry pivot and counter.

i mix it all up to confuse my opponent

i normally stay on the out side and slipping and parrying the shots but if im fighting someone a lot taller i change my defence to bobbing and weaving with a winky wright guard throwing lots of punches

Funnily enough, I think the order of the poll options exactly mirrors my ranking of preference. Controlling distance, followed by parrying/intercepting, then the rest.

I like all types of defense including the George Foreman/Moore inspired cross arm defense, and the Ruiz Squeeze.

i ike the ike quartey, azumah nelson, winky wrigt style of defense. i keep my hands up and circle rather then move straight. i like to jab, bob and weave as i move. parry and roll. when i see an opening or a break in my opponents attack, i open up. i jabmy way in, parry, block and slip whatever punches the opponent has left to defend himself. when inside i attack relentlesly with short, compact left hooks and other short punches while moving my head from one side of my opponent to thhe other. i may tangle his arms with mine on purpose to neutralize or wrestle an opponent around the ring. i box until its open then i attack non stop until the bell. in conclusion, defense is my path to offense in the begining and then my offense usually interwines itelf with defense. i love this sport.
