Yeah, but Sprewell never got offered more money from any other team and he was out of the league the next year. Mayweather went on to make 10's of millions of dollars in the sport. That "slave contract" prevented him from being on ppv and really limited his exposure and earning potential. It would seem to me that Mayweather actually had a point as he turned out to be worth much more than HBO said he was worth. The same can't be said about Sprewell.
