"I am my own boss, Pac is not" Yet when interviewed again. Are you going to fight Pacquiao? "Well you know, we have to see if it makes sense and thats my promoters decision"
"Thats a slave contact compared to what the prince is making" Fraud once again showing class after HBO offered him a 12.5 million dollar contract when he was still relatively unknown.
It was like when Latrell Sprewell the basketball player was offered 5 million and he didnt take it and said "I have a family to feed".
"I am the cash cow of the sport I did 3.5 homes in 2 fights, me Floyed Mayweather" Referring to the combined numbers from the Oscar and Hatton fight. He really thinks all those PPV sales were generated mainly because of him.
"You know the Philippines have the best performance enhancing drugs in the world!" -Random comment on the RA interview.
Yeah, but Sprewell never got offered more money from any other team and he was out of the league the next year. Mayweather went on to make 10's of millions of dollars in the sport. That "slave contract" prevented him from being on ppv and really limited his exposure and earning potential. It would seem to me that Mayweather actually had a point as he turned out to be worth much more than HBO said he was worth. The same can't be said about Sprewell.
when RA the rugged man said, "You said you are the greatest but you haven't fought the best at 147 blah blah blah...." Floyd interrupts "but I AM the greatest" (Genuinely believing that) you had to hear it to believe it.
Its not about what happened after its what was said. "Slave contract" = Millions of dollars "I have a family to feed" = Millions of dollars
