Even though his quotes are amateur at best, I couldn't help but laugh when he said the following about Oscar: "Hi, my name Oscar De La Hoya. I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna tha. . . you ain't gonna do ****!" Others have been pretty good too.... On Roy Jones: "Of course I'm better than Roy Jones Jr. Why would you even ask that?" On Junior Witter: "Would I fight Junior Witter? Who is he? Is he a boxer?" On Zab Judah: "He ain't nowhere near my level, but he's a good fighter though. Maybe one day he'll get off them undercards. " "You ain't never see me get knocked down three times from one punch. "
On why boxing is better than MMA, "Boxing is for everybody... I mean you can't take my shoes off and take my shirt off and just throw me in a cage... you do that with animals, you don't do that with humans,"
i might be one of the biggest fmj fans on the planet but as far as quotes go....i cannot recall any memorable quotes like ali, tyson, etc. he's not that good of a slick talker imo.

I agree to an extent. I think the Floyd we see on TV is not the 'real' Floyd, even though he still has a huge ego he's not THAT much of and ass. He talks a lot of ****, but he's known as one of the hardest workers in the sport. He's always in shape, is always training, doesnt smoke, doesn't drink, and pretty much lives the lifestyle of a boxer should year round. I'm not a big fan of him (just his skills) but I can see why he does what he does. Some guys/athletes just function better like that, I remember Gary Payton saying the same thing in an article back in the day.
