    A 'war'!

When you get two guys who will not back down, who both think they are the tougher man and have more will, skill and determination than their opponent.

That's when this **** gets real, this is what you show your friends to make them realise how ****ing amazing boxing is and why it excites fans beyond comprehension. Every non boxing fan that I made sit through Morales barrera 1 watched till the very end.

So you like when a technically gifted fighter tames a brawler?

Hard to narrow it down to one. As long as it is an even match up where both guys are game it usually tends to be a decent fight.

Back and forth brawl all day long.
    Dunne - Cordoba style.

Good point. I picked back and forth brawl, but that's not to say that a technical, but compelling matchup can't be just as good, or better. To me, it depends on the matchup. A back and forth brawl featuring two nobodies wouldn't be nearly as exciting as a technical war between two well known fighters.

Do you think a back and forth brawl between two nobodies is still better than the other? In other words, would you rather see a back and forth brawl between two unknowns, or a technical, down to the wire matchup against two P4Pers?

Where is the choice where the fighters want to "decapacitate their opponent" ala-Tyson.

It does not have to be a beatdown but both fighters are willing to die on top of the ring, and not that I know all along that it would be a technical decision, with the knockout as only a possible bonus.

I want the fights where I know that they will end in knockout, with a decision as a bonus for prolonging my PPV money.

+Gien the choices, first one probably.

My fav is any type of a brawl, back and forth or technical. When I want to see a fight, I want to see a "fight." That's one of the reasons why my all time favorite fight is the Ali/ Frazier III bout.

Technical P4P's like with your option - Gatti - Ward, you get two fighters who can be technically proficient yet at points everything goes out the window, toe - toe 100% focused on bombing the other guy out of there.

Holyfield - Bowe would be another example.

But with that said Dunne - Cordoba wasn't the most technically sound fight but damn it had me on the edge of my seat.

Yes I saw Rocky when I was young.
