I'll go with Tszyu-Phillips. To this day I'm impressed as hell that Phillips was able to beat a fighter like Tszyu. And it's one of those rare occurances where there wasn't many excuses to be made, Tszyu was at his physical and mental peak, and he didn't seem particularly overconfident.. he was just in there with a fighter that wanted it more that night. And to top it off it was a really good fight. Thoughts?
There were plenty of excuses. He had a massive million dollar court case going through with his promoter, and best friend for years Bill Mordey. He didn't train to his full extent as he was constantly in court, and struggled to get by in Australia without the support he had been getting from Bill. He came in with a bad gameplan, and didn't have the fitness or focus to beat a very motivated and strong Phillips. it is all in his book, and i have no doubt it is legitimate as i have heard it from different sides regarding the case and the loss. Still a great win no doubt, against an excellent fighter.
The first 3 fight you mentioned are not even close to being upsets. They were really pick em fights, with very even odds. The last fight only marginally better. A better example, and easily the best would be Tyson v Douglas. Other good ones are Judah v Baldomir, Maussa v Harris, Lewis v Rahman, Johnson v Jones ect ect.
I was laughing when Raheem came out of nowhere and completely dominated Morales. But my all time fav is Rahmann/Lewis. Now that is what you call getting KTFO.
Tarver/Hopkins was an upset. Even the sports analyst in Philly were giving Hopkins very little chance. Hopkins was coming off of two losses and going up two divisions. Hopkins wasn't given much of a chance and was 3-1 underdog.
Brewster/Wlad, only fight that made that made me shed a tear, I followed Brewster since he fought Eitenne in 2000, and I really thought he could win, and the fact that he hung in there with Wlad and took everything he had, and was able to comeback and knock him out, was nothing short of amazing. IMO.
