scored it for leonard 115-113 pal, must have watched that fight at least a hundred times as a young lad but i wanted leonard to win and i may have had tinted glasses on. infact, i'm off work tomorow and haven't watched it for about 5 years, so gonna have a few beers and try and score it tonight. who do you think won jack?
Williams-Martinez 1 I really can't say I have a favorite, but this fight springs to mind b/c I just remember there being so much action and in the championship rds, they were still going at it like the fight had just started.
Akeem Anofowashi vs. Robert Quiroga. Not my favourite but it hardly ever gets a mention. Great fight! Shame about the end for both guys...
Duran-Leonard I. The Brawl in Montreal. Such a clash of styles, but probably the 2 best welterweights ever fighting each other with the exception of SRR. Masterful performance by Duran. What I expected Mayweather-Pacquiao to be. Salvador Sanchez vs Azumah Nelson What a hell of a fight! Nelson a man possessed for 15 rounds giving SS hell. I love the closeup shots of the fight you can actually see with better appreciation the power and impact they had as older grainy film quality dont do these older fights justice. SS fnishes the great African legend in the last round like a true champion. Nelson goes on to make his own legacy claims Sanchez the best he ever fought. Chacon-Limon 4 Words cannot descibe this beauty. Limons aggression was unreal in this fight. A must have for any fan.
Nigel Benn vs. Thulani Sugarboy Malinga. This is my favourite fight because of the outcome. Everyone thought Malinga was a cherry picked opponent and gave Malinga no chance. Malinga went and got the decision in front of Benns home fans... We all know how hard it is to get a decision in the UK for a foreign fighter.
