    Bowe-Golota II

Certainly not the most significant heavyweight fight of all-time, but I still think it was one of the most entertaining fights the division has ever seen. The ending was a bit anti-climatic, but I'm not sure that one could have ended any other way.

The first fights in the Bowe-Holyfield and Barrera-Morales trilogy are also amongst my favorites.

There are a lot of older fights I really enjoy (such as Moore-Durelle I), but I can never enjoy those as much as those I've lived through, which is why my other notable mention would be the first fight I ever remember seeing, Hagler-Hearns.

That's one of my favorites which I would put in the category I alluded to earlier--fight happened before my time.

 This would have looked just like my post. Bowe/Golota 2 is compelling viewing, indeed.

I'd add Gonzalez/Carbajal 1 and Lopez/Saad II to the list.

Blanks so much I'm gonna have to say Tyson-Holyfield I, even though I'm a big fan of Mike's and hate to see him lose, I still haven't watched Tokyo Douglas beat him... Only problem is that Pacheco does the commentary!

Mine is Moore / Durelle 1. Moore is down multiple times early. Comes back shakily at first against an onslaught that would have stopped men with less ring savvy and personal integrity in their tracks.

Moore takes control of the fight slowly and eventually is able to knock Durelle out. If memory serves me well the end comes in the 11th.

The first Frazier-Quarry fight , featuring one of the greatest first rounds in heavyweight history, imo.

Yeah. Quarry ended up a basket case. I had the chance to see Ali whip the hell out of him. Quarry was a throw back kind of fighter. IMO he was never more than a very solid journeyman. That means no disrespect whatsoever.

    Corrales-Castillo 1.

My 2nd favorite, I guess, would be Trinidad-Vargas.
