To tell you the truth the two figths I have probably watched the most are Duran-Palomino and Ward-Augustus (Burton).

I love these fights for different reasons and the fact they are a nice even 10 rounds make them easy to slot in when you only have a spare half and hour or so.

Tough call indeed, but Louis-Schmeling II for me. Beautifully, brutal, yet economic destruction. Not one punch or movement was wasted.

Almost impossible to say...lately I can't stop watching Barrera v Morales 1, so that would be right up there. It's a great ebb and flow fight between two proud fighters right in their primes.

Believe it or not, Toney v Nunn is another fight that I remember with tremendous fondness, partly because I picked Toney to win, and my friends thought I was crazy.
James made me look like I knew what I was talking about...which isn't always true. :D

Good calls, particuarly agree with Toney-Nunn. Good prediction on your part too, as Nunn was somewhat a force-of-nature back then.

You could argue that Nunn had looked a bit pedestrian against Starling and Barkley. That said, great prediction all the same. I had Michael winning the fight up until the knockout. Huge shot.

  12. I definitely need to spend more time around here and learn the good fights. Much respect to this community.

for example ali-williams. it wasn't an exciting fight in the way that both where equal to eachother but it was a masterclass from ali's side
