Leonard - Hearns I. Great tactical fight with several momentum swings between two great fighters. I was at an age (real young) where these guys were my heroes and it meant the most to me.
Mosley - Hoya Mosley - Margarito Ali - Frazier 1 and 3 Frazier - Foster Whitaker - McGirt 1 and 2 Ibeabuchi - tua tua - Ruiz Hagler - Hearns toney - Barley tyson - Williams toney - McCallum 1 and 2 All fights from my favorite fighters, there are other fights I like where I am no huge on either of the fighters ie. Castillo - Corrales, Ward - Augustus, etc.
Aye. Sal was in a couple of classics: I've always liked the Gomez fight and the fact that Sal traded full-on blows with Lopez, took 'em and was still the last man standing on every occasion.
I would say its a three way tie between Castillo-Corrales I, Bowe-Holyfield I, and Carbajal-Gonzalez I. So much for sequels.
Toney-McCallum I was an analyst's dream. That's up there with me, but behind Duran-Barkley. Every fight is a step behind that one by my estimations.
I don't want to mention what some of you have listed, and I agree with all that I've seen. Gatti vs Ward I, Robinson I, Ruelas, and Rodriguez Leonard vs Benitez was high quality Foreman vs Stewart was a real struggle. Anyone mention Foreman and Lyle?
I would of loved to seen = 1980 Montreal Roberto Duran vs ray robinson@147 Peak Roy Jones jr vs marvin hagler@160 George Foreman vs Ali in vegas etc I'm hungrey on lateer...
