What like Porter v Brook was a robbery as you claimed when you got here. We get it ellerbe. When the black guy loses a close one it's a robbery to you. When the black guy wins a disputed decision it's a clear schooling.
No, mentioned it above 7-5, -1 for dirrell. 114-113. But I was happy they didn't give it to him with such a horrid negative performance. I don't like boxers rewarded for avoiding the fight
'Running' is not ring generalship. :good This was Dirrell's way of fighting: [YT]kw45Ucz5KmY[/YT] When he wasn't holding onto Froch like he was Rachel. But you'll notice the double standard of many posters (including ellerbe above) where he tries to claim Dirrell outlanded Froch so it was a robbery.....while at the same time claiming 'Zaggers v Hopkins was a robbery despite 'Zaggers outlanding Hopkins ecery round. The real reason they call these robberies (when they like haven't watch the fights probably) is because the person the same colour as them lost a fight they claim to have won.
Really tough one. Massive fan of Froch. The Bute fight was fantastic, I went to that fight and the atmosphere when Froch was destroying an unbeaten champion was fantastic. The Taylor fight was amazing because he was losing the fight and went over to the states to take on one of my favourite fighters at the time in Taylor. As somebody earlier mentioned, that was Froch's biggest win, without that last 10 second stoppage, his whole career would be different. However, I voted for Groves 2. Really don't like Groves and to knock him out with 1 punch when most people said he'd lose the rematch, that was fantastic. What a punch it was too. How many people were at Wembley? I forget.
The Bute win due to everyone giving Froch no chance in the build up to the fight and he absolutely demolished him. Eddie Hearn jumping into the ring early making it even better too. The Kessler rematch was special too. Still cry over the Groves fights. First one was a joke and for the second I was one of them ****neys mentioned previously thinking it'd be an easy victory for George and the only Londoner in the pub up north. Boy did I get some stick after the Knockout!
Bute - Amazing atmosphere and having lost to Ward had his back to the wall, it was a must win fight and Froch came out and just dominated the highly touted Bute. My favourite performance from Froch, it was just a ruthless beatdown. Groves 2 - Grudge match and Froch had a point to prove. Groves had run his mouth and shown a respected champion no respect at all and to see Froch 1 punch KO Groves was very satisfying. But the fight itself didn't live up to the first fight for drama which is why I have to as my 2nd favourite Froch win.
Hmmm Was close between Pascal, Taylor, Bute and Groves II. Pascal fight was probably the most entertaining and was his intro to decent level competition. Taylor was a huge one and might have been my choice if I had seen the whole thing live (had been out on the lash and fell asleep, woke up for last 3 rounds) as I didn't quite grasp just how much of a comeback it was. I knew he was behind on the cards but he was the better fight in what I saw. Groves II had the spectacle and the big build up and GG was becoming pretty annoying by that point so to see it ended like that was great moment. In the end though I voted Bute. It came at a point where he was being written off a bit people expected Bute to stop him! To come out and dominate him + the cheesy Rocky ring walk music make it no.1 for me.
