What is your favourite type of punch?

You missed out my fave - the most effective punch of all - the sucker punch!!

 

Let the opponent walk onto the uppercut

 

Lead right hand.

 

Fence-sitting here, but all of them are things of beauty when well delivered.

A stiff jab that knocks a head back...an uppercut up the middle that turns the opponent into a bobblehead doll...a left hook smacking into the body.

 

Any - as long as it's thrown with bad intentions and to the thread starters head.

What about the one where you put your keys in your hand first - the stinger - I didn't see that on the list. No spinning back-fist either. Tsk.

 

the great equalizer - check left hook! :yep

 

A well-thrown short counter cross that an opponent doesn't see coming. After that a crisp, quick jab is my favorite punch to see.

Let's not forget the "Cup Punch" nothing like a well timed punch to the nuts to get you out of trouble.

Watch the JoeCal V Hopkins fight for some nice use of techinque in the throwing and receving of said shot.

You also get the joy of watching some quality acting which I think old man Hopkins should consider as his next career move.....

 

Shovel Punch...Especially on a charging opponent. Devistating...Just DEVISTATING!
