I was on holiday in the canaries for that one, Surprisingly the pub where I watched it was pretty quiet and I got to watch the whole thing undisturbed lol.

My first memory was Ali v Berbick, I was too young to understand why Ali didnt win but that was when I became a fan and soon learned that everything is not always what it seems in this sport of ours lol :)

Early Tyson is my first memory - I was only young but everybody knew who Mike Tyson was.

In terms of an actual fight - Tyson vs Bruno 1. It wasn't live I'm sure they showed it on Grandstand (or similar) the day after or maybe even the following week.

And a little later the news that the impossible had happened and the baddest man on the planet had lost against Buster Douglas. I even bought the James Buster Douglas Boxing game for the Mega drive off the back of that. He did alright considering he was only champ for about 8 months.

The earliest boxing memory I have (I think) was when Ali lost to Leon Spinks. I was completely gutted he lost and looked so old and jaded (much like myself nowadays).

Listening with my dad to Chris Finnegan v Bob Foster on the radio in the kitchen because my mum wanted to watch TV in the living room.
