What is your ideal aussie fight card?

    Was watching Katsidis and thinking we have some really awesome, ballsy fighters in Australia. We dont have a lot of Winky Wright/PBF style boring (but talented) boxers. We have guys that fight with pure heart, aggression and that makes them some of the most exciting guys in the world to watch.

    So, as a world event, what do you think would be the most exciting card, featuring a top Aussie in each event?

    Mine is something like this:

    Paul Briggs vs Glen Johnson.
    Victor Oganov vs Jeff Lacy.
    Vic Darchinyan vs Jorge Arce.
    Bowie Tupai vs David Tua

    With Katsidis vs the Baby Bull as the main event.

    You could also include Mundine, Green and naturally Sammy Soliman as well. Hell, we could put one one damn fine card. Perhaps one of the best that the world has EVER seen.

    What card would you like to see that would guarantee fireworks?

    What about Sam Soliman? I know he can make for an action packed fight, but against who?

    It doesn't have to be a card where the Aussies would win either, just where we could guarantee a night of FOTY candidates.

    He already went against Anthony and yeah, he got thrashed. I think he is better fighting at 154. Fighting Winky wont be too exciting, so I reckon he should fight... ODLH!

    So my revised card is this...

    Warm up bout of only 6 rounds:
    John Hopoate vs Butterbean

    Then onto some real fights, some of them for title eliminators:

    Bowie Tupai vs David Tua.
    Paul Briggs vs Glen Johnson.
    Victor Oganov vs Jeff Lacy.
    Vic Darchinyan vs Jorge Arce.
    Sam Soliman vs ODLH.
    Danny Green vs Lucien Bute.

    With Katsidis vs the Baby Bull, Lovemore N'dou vs Ricky Hatton and Mundine vs Joe Calzaghe all as main events!

    1. Heavyweight. Kali Meehan(Aus) vs Soloman Haumono(Aus)

    2. Super Feather. Billy Dib(Aus) vs Ricky Burns(UK)

    3. Super Middle. Sikio Bika(Aus) vs Victor Oganov(Aus)

    4. Junior Welter. Ben Rabah(Aus) vs Lovemore NDou(Aus) 2

    5. Lightweight. Michael Katsidis(Aus) vs Jonathon Thaxton(UK)

    6. Main Event Light Heavy. Paul Briggs(Aus) vs Danny Green(Aus)

    that would be a realistic fight card.
