Not sure about the Ali/Walcott prediction,myself. Would have been a purist's dream though.

 

I'm betting 1000% percent on all mythical match-ups I've ever discussed...and usually do better than alright picking outright winners in the real world...But there was that one time I picked Marquez over Mayweather (ahem) I overlooked a little thing called mobility(?) won't do that again...

Addendum: I think a prime Benny Leonard would have a shot at outfencing a young Micky Walker at welterweight.

Pipino Cuevas stopping Kid Gavilan late. Gavilan had great boxing ability & would move around and score very well. But Gavilan did like to mix it up. But the key factor is Gavilan's lack of power. Cuevas would keep walking in and eventually land the big bomb. Cuevas did very well against light hitting good boxers. Espada, Gray, Weston, Ranzany.

You're forgetting that Gavilan had an all time great chin. Robinson was never able to put him down in 25 rounds, nor was Eduardo Lausse at Middleweight (who most certainly hit harder in a general sense than Cuevas).
