What is your opinion of Fat Mess Dan Rafael of ESPN?

hes an arsehole. has no idea how to score a fight. gets offended rather easily for someone who talks a lot of shite about other people

 

Very interesting how Fat Dan and Kellerman who cover the sport for a living and have condemned fighters for not making weight calling them a disgrace, BOTH put a fighter that beat JMM while failing to make the contractual weight in JMM's 1st fight at 147 #1 and make no mention of this in rationalizing their P4P rankings.

Very interesting how he regularly calls out Sulliman, disgraced alphabet soups, and fighters who tip the scale while talking about how styles make fights on a regular basis but that magically disappears last week ? Was somebody paid off ? Obvious attempt to rally mainstream fans by design.

A fighter that never beat the best at 140 or 147 who fights at 147 is a
#1 WW and P4P #1 with 0 prime HOF wins ?

met him a couple times in the grand garden lobby.....i dont trust anyone who doesnt drink

in general i think he sucks....but im shocked he actually moved floyd over manny in his rankings...he knows better...but he wont openly chastise manny or top rank...ever since manny let him rewatch the hatton fight in his hotel room the day after hes been a manny slobber....and hes unfairly hated on floyd....which suprised me when he changed his rankings......but he still wont tell everyone what we all can see about pac and top rank....he did bash pac/shane but not like he could have...he pulled back though from fully going in on it......the guy has a responsibility...most casual fans get their boxing news from him

Seems like to me the haters of him only hate him because he doesn't fit their agenda, or agree with them, and the best insult they have is that he is fat. So what, what does that have to do with anything at all? Its simple, if you don't like his work, ignore it.

 

He shows his biasness towards the boxers he favors. Most of the time his analysis is full of ****.

 

hes ok but is inconsistent

he will gang up on obscure belt holders or interims and guys like povekin who are regular holders and say they are a fraud

but other regulars like Gamboa and Rios are considered world champions and the real deal

he also calls every close fight a high way robbery i think high way robbery is one of the dumbest and over used boxing phrases

i think he is ok in other aspects

OP said his Haye hate was too much but in all honesty the guy is a joke
