What is your opinion on Cristobal Areolla?

    I notice that his name gets bandied about a lot, a lot of people still rate him as one of the best outside the Klitschkos.

    Personally I think he's awful, the punches he throws look horrible, he has no defence to speak of.

    He has decent power, but not concussive power, and it's the combination of this, and his bulk which carry him to most of his wins, in my opinion.

    He's fat and crap. It's testament to the shitty state of the heavyweights that anybody outside of his hometown even knows who he is.

    Gets a hell of a lot of stick but he's got heart, under rated stamina and is mostly in exciting fights.

    Hopelessly lacking in what it takes to reach the very top. No dedication at all, he doesn't understand what it takes to be the best. Exciting and takes a good beating but the way he cried after Vit Klit was pathetic. If he cared that much about it them he would get into shape. He shouldve had no excuses, he was feeling sorry for himself then as well. The fact he's got as far as he has says more about the state of HW boxing than it does about Cris Arreola. Could still pick up a title after the klitschko and haye go though. The way Vit Klit pushed his guard open with a downward hammer style punch was laughable.

    Tough kid, average ability with a decent dig and makes for exciting fights and nothing more. His disposition and mentality is awful. See, the big problem for Cristobal is that the man actually thinks he's the Mexican version of Samson with the strength of long hair. Well for Cristobal his long hair strength comes in the form of these gigantic burritos that can only be found in East LA. The man truly thinks that the larger and softer his mid section is, then the better he performs. Absolutely pathetic!
