Those fights would be sanctioned and a title would be definetly on the line. Let's not fool ourselves. And I don't think you're a GGG hater, you're just so determined to hate Ward.
Why do some fanboys feel compelled to throw insults when they run out of arguments like a teenage girl? Never count on getting a full reply from these teenage girls, they just answer the part they feel like answering. I have to admit now, some GGG fans are just as bad as moronic trolls like El Chicano and Cisco Route and they're not really fans of the sports, they're just fanboys of a certain fighter so I don't expect them to understand the REAL boxing fans.
The Regular and interim are merely the #1 and #2 contender when there's already a super champ in place. But a couple of occurrences lately made a couple of exceptions to that rule. Like the winner of RJJ vs Enzo Mac, and Broner who got promoted after having his (undeserved shot) vacant title for only a month.
Cotto has better wins at MW than GGG, but to my point the WBC,WBA, & IBF Champ at MW are clearly in the top 3 so my point stands. There is no division where the Champs aren't in the top 4/5 universally.
No offense bro but you sound kind of foolish clearly you gave a agenda against Ward so I won't talk about him. But clearly seeing the best fight the best should be the most important thing, how is an undeserving fighter getting a title shot over a universally recognize top 10/5 fighter good for boxing? How is fighters having to face in some cases the #15 or 20 rated fighter a good thing? Anyone who'll argue Thurman-Berto(a mandatory) over say Thurman-Porter,Garcia(two more deserving fighters) need there head checked.
good for making nice and healthy sanctioning fees for the ABC orgs, but otherwise terrible for the sport
Don't waste your time. The guy is not a fan of the sport, all he wants is to cherish one and hate his rival's guts. Like a 13 year old Justin Bieber fan who doesn't give a f**** about music but all she wants to do is to ride Bieber's ****.
Interim titles are for B level fighters. Regular WBA title should be treated differently depending on its owner willing to take on a super champion and defend the title against mandatories. Fighters make titles, not the other way around.
Yeah, keep going girl. Maybe I'm wrong and you're not educated on boxing politics, so that's my bad. But, what about the Floyd fight @154? According to you, haters were right. GGG doesn't deserve to fight the #1 fighters of 154 and 168 so he was waiting for handouts like again haters have been insisting. By your very own logic.
@Barcham Wards promotional issues that have kept him out aren't a reason to degrade him as a fighter and act like he's not proven. Saying any fighter should have ranked wins in a division, is understandable if that is your true stances on it. However a top Champion moving up one division and taking on a Champion in his first fight there is not a bad thing, especially if that guy moving up is better than the fighters already campaigning there. As far as P4P you used the most far out excuses ever, obviously a FlyW can't fight a SMW regardless of P4P. Pound for Pound is simple rating the best fighters in the sport regardless of weight, if you look at all P4P list out there generally they are close to spot on as far as who's the best. A JWW who is rated P4P fighting a WW who is P4P could and should happen. Golovkin, Ward,& Kovalev are all rated P4P and until recently were all one division between them, all of those guys could face each other to determine who is the best. I mean Ward beating Kovalev is worth more than say, Ward beating Degale why because Kovalev is one of the 10 best fighters in the world while Degale is just a good SMW. A better fight is a better fight it sounds like your more in favor of politics, Again the WBC can have a fighter not ranked in the top 20 be a mandatory, how can you prefer a Champion fighting him over someone who is universally recognized as the best in a division or in the entire sport?
GGG would definetly go down to 154 if Floyd was willing to fight him as he should. But again by your very own logic, Floyd, Froch, Ward had every right to say "Golovkin doesn't deserve to fight me, he doesn't have a single win in my weight class." Just like you're doing with Ward, and don't bring up the title s****, you deserve to take on a fighter or not. With or without a title on the line doesn't matter and Kovalev isn't even the lineal champion at LHW. But we all know the reason you don't want Kovalev vs Ward, don't we. It has nothing to do with who deserves what. It's simply because you're a HATER, if Ward fights Kovalev It'll prove he's not a coward and he's willing to fight anyone, just like that moron called Uppercut-Artist who claimed GGG doesn't deserve a fight with Froch. I on the other hand don't give a f**** about you fangirls' ****ing contests or all the politic ****. I'm a boxing fan and I want to see good boxing. I want to see GGG vs Froch, Kovalev vs Stevenson, Kovalev vs Ward, GGG vs Canelo, Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux, Povetkin vs Wilder and I couldn't care less who deserves what in these possible match ups. But If someone prefers to ride a certain fighter's **** and hate the other instead of enjoying the sport itself, I got nothing to say about that.
Remember back in 2013 when Ward offended Mayweather by saying he was pulling for his Bay Area guy Robert Guerrero?? Floyd said something that ****ed Ward off and he came back at Floyd saying he would fight him at 160 ASAP?
Show me one thread where I said I was OK with Canelo demanding a catchweight, please. The only thing I said remotely close to that is if GGG wants to become a PPV star, he has to fight one and to do that, he may have to play along with the divas. That's all. And you do care about Ward fighting Kovalev or not, you're just backtracking now.
