Everyone is going to have different rankings, which makes things interesting. Feel free to get in depth if you want to explain a certain ranking or why you believe someone belongs in that spot. Lets hear them!
1. Tony Bellew 2. Deontay Wilder 3. Floyd Mayweather I don't really know any other boxers but I think these three are definitely head and shoulders above the others.
Actually I'd never reply to one of these because of the amount of **** people spew at each other for daring to wonder if one boxer should rank higher than another. And although I think someone like Sam Langford should be very high on the list, for instance, I'm basing that purely on stats and anecdotes so it'd be dishonest to include someone like that. So I'd end up with a list of boxers I've actually seen box, to the exclusion of basically everyone pre-1940, and I'd probably cop a load of **** for that too. Can't wait to read people call each other ****ing morons for having Leonard higher than Duran though.
I agree with @Mynydd too much diarrhea of the mouth for posting that Sugar Ray Robinson (a 1940's-to-1960's) should be number one. There are multiple TS's that have made post saying there are no fighters back in the day that is better than today's fighters. What a bunch of BS. Pretty much your top ten by most people's account are ALL old time fighters. The ones closest to today is SRL and Duran

Now on De La Hoya, I have to watch more of his early career. Yes I know how good he has been dubbed, but until I watch the earlier fights, I can not comment. I watched a lot of him from 99 onwards, but as mentioned I'm not sure as to what happened 100 percent in the Quartey and Sturm fights. I reckon he beat Trinidad, but did he get lucky either side of that in the two mentioned? Sugar Shane beat him twice, and I know he moved up in weight when he got stopped by that B-Hop body shot. Pacman loss came later on too. But yeah, I'd have to watch again. Ali wasn't in my era and nor were Sugar Ray. I'm only commenting from when I've been born/watching.
