I think Tyson was fairly competitive early on, some people though have it as a shut-out for Holyfield. Opinion?
Tyson won the 1st and 5th round. He started off well in the 6th too, until the low blow, headbutt and KD. Up until that the fight was pretty competitive.
I had Holyfield ahead by 5-6 rounds after round ten. Tyson won just a few rounds. It was an easy fight to score. Official cards: Judge: Dalby Shirley 92-96 Judge: Frederico Vollmer 93-100 Judge: Jerry Roth 92-96
Holyfield won about 8 of those rounds clear. 2 rounds might have been even, or pehaps you could go ahead and give them to Mikey. Not that score cards matter at all in a fight that ends like this one did.
I must add something. I saw this fight live at a race track. A race track is a fantastic place to see a boxing match. All types of people were there. Before the start of the fight, Tyson's fans were thinking KO in 1. When tides turned Tyson fans screamed low blow when Holyfield rocked him, then when it was replayed showing nothing but legal body blows there was a huge amount of laughter. But this was later to be topped! After the fight, the same large group of Tyson fans were screaming fix.
