Don't laugh, but Khan Maidana. Mainly because I had some serious money on Khan to win, and I was screaming at the TV the last three rounds like I never screamed before. I was shaking like a leaf each time Maidana punched Khan.

I promised myself in the wake of that fight never to bet on a boxing match ever again. Placing a large bet is a MUCH bigger emotional investment than being a fan. I realized that big time.

Sanchez-Gomez or Hagler-Hearns. Can't make my mind up right now, but I usually say the former.

I can relate to your frustration!
Two fights I bet $500 on; I won both but, with boxing, its not like you're dealing with a 'final score', it's in the hands of the judges.
I picked both favorites so I won less than $500.
    Holmes-Cooney.
Larry was prime beef and I just didn't see mr. wannabe who had feasted on has-beens walking thru that jab and savvy!
Gerry actually fought a good fight and then, instead of jumping back into the ring maybe six months later, took two years off! **** on the Cooney nuthuggers (my opinion)
    Benitez-Duran.
Both were moving up in weight but Vegas saw Wilfred as the fav and so did we. He had been at the weight longer and we saw a clear decision outcome. However, one judge scored it 143-142 for Benitez! What was he smoking?? Like you said, too much of an investment to risk big bucks.
My friend and I did win about $300 on side bets on the Foreman-Young scrap. Given George's brain-dead demeaner after Ali, we got a bunch of 4-5-6 to 1 bets on Jimmy. One co-worker bet me $10 and gave me 10-1 odds! Not wise to bet on a boxing match for the most part.

    Felix Trinidad vs Fernando Vargas.

That fight had a little of everything. Knockdowns, lowblows on both sides, changes in momentum and a decisive finish. The signature win of a great fighters career.

Buchanan-Laguna 2. Being a young golden glover the skill these two had just blew me away at the time. I was in awe of what both of them could do and this was Laguna at the end of his career too. Each showed moves I have not seen since and was able to add at a far lesser degree to my own skill set.
