They almost dominate the lower class and have longer reigning records, but look at these homeboys who are they fighting?:yikes :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi: :hi:
its weird like everything else in japan, they have large cartoon like hair that resembles the characters in Dragobball Z
Obviously, size comes to mine when you think of Japanese fighter. The reality is that once you drop under the Lightweight class, theres less interest in general for the lower classes. However i think just like our german buddies, their overprotected. They beat on hams until they get crazy records. That and in general(this will sound stereotypical) but japanese people who want to fight usually learn other martial art then boxing.
I think they usually box not because of economic gain, but really for the love of sports, pride and honor. I've learned that any Japenese boxers who can snatched world titles will be immediately installed in their own version HOF.
fighters in japan usually win via hometown decisions.. but i was able to watch some tough and skilled jap fighters in youtube.. hozumi hasegawa for example.. i just hope that someday some of them would be courageous enough to fight in the us.. just my thoughts...
