Seriously. Did I just actually witness that fight? Or did I doze off and have a horrible nightmare? Are Vlad and Sultan friends? Were both of Vlad's arms broken? Is there some behind the scenes explanation for why Vlad didn't kill that guy? He threw five right hands all night and Sultan did not land one punch. I don't care what Compubox said. He did not land one punch. And then they interview Vlad afterwards and he basically says, "Sorry. I could have knocked him out at any time. I just didn't. I will knock everyone else out." Does anybody think that fight was fixed?
Yeah in case you failed to notice. :hey Yeah these guys looked like they didnt want to hurt each other looked like two friends having a sparring match. I was dissapointed cuz we got competition from MMA and this makes boxing look bad.
According to those who are "true fans of the sweet science" it was a boxing masterclass and a great performance by Wlad. Wlad usually isn't so terribly boring, he usually looks quite good nowadays, but the only thing you can praise about that fight was that Wlad unified, and hopefully, with that out of the way, he'll be more impressive in defending.
Austin actually hurt Ibragimov and dropped him, HARD. I saw some right hands land for Waldo, but suffice to say, none such as Rainman's lone right hand. Is Waldo's power overrated? Hmm... one has to wonder!
Boring ass fight. I was expecting a good tactical match up to at least make it interesting. All that Klit did was use his reach and size to keep Ibragimov off him, and thats about it. What a low.
So you didn't see the fight then? I didn't think so............... Sultan was hit with 2 right hands and his ass bounced off the ropes and he held on for dear life. It shoudl've been ruled a knockdown.
