What justification is there to NOT have Mijares in the top 3 P4P right now?

    . . . let me just put it this way . . .

. . . are you saying that Mijares should be rated higher than Joe Calzaghe, Manuel Marquez, Israel Vasquez, Miguel Cotto and Kelly Pavlik? :think

. . . I must agree that Mijares is a gifted fighter . . . but you people better stop sucking Mijares' nuts . . . because it's obviously preventing your brains from functioning. :yep

Calzaghe is 117 weeks in the P4P ratings
Juan Manuel Marquez is 63 weeks
    Israel Vasquez 43 weeks
    Miguel Cotto is 51 weeks
    Kelly Pavlik is 12 weeks

Mijares 2 weeks :yikes . . . and you people wants him at #3?

 :rofl  :rofl  :rofl

Sorry but this is crazy. Munoz doesnt have anywhere near the speed of Joe, Cal or Pac p4p and he tagged Mijares quite a bit. On top of that can you really say this guy is as skilled as PBF? This is Mijares first weight class, when PBF was at 130, 135 look at how dominant he was. Compare Mijares performance for example on Munoz vs PBF performance against Corrales. PBF not only performed so much better but he was fighting a better fighter too. Now unto Pac, compare any of Mijares performance to Pac's performance against Ledwaba & MAB, absolute demolition of a solid champ and an ATG. Calzaghe has dominated champs on Munoz level much more decisively too, just look at Lacy and even Eubank.

Mijares is nowhere near top 3, dont get caught in the hype by a certain someone in this forum. P4P PBF UD, Pac KO, Calzaghe TKO.

His resume sucks a bit, apart from Arce.

Anywhere from 5-10 H2H is fair.

Anywhere from 7/8-10 p4p is fair.

Anything higher and we're slightly over-rating him. He hasn't quite done what others have done, against better opposition.

100% H2H (nothing to do with resume or accomplishments.. I'm not talking about your classic ring magazine type of rating P4P list), if Guzman's stamina gets better at 135 where he won't have to drain as much weight, he will be an absolute monster.. he's already a stylistic nightmare to everyone and if his stamina/workrate got better, he would be unbeatable against all of the current LW's. The only time Guzman loses rounds is when he gives them away.

How about Sakio Bika and Robin Reid?

And some of you are making it sound as if Mijares' win over Munoz wasn't impressive. Mijares beat him clear as day.

What point are you trying to make though... Calzaghe's resume has massive depth, even though it is lacking in elite fighters overall. Are you seriously trying to compare Mijares in that regard? Let it go please, your habbit of carrying on in threads where you have been proved wrong time and time again is highly annoying...

Mijares captured my imagination after I watched him thrash Navarro.

And for the record, the only fighter I ever see you hype that I actually like is Mijares. :yep

Time and time again? Did you walk in on me eating your mother out in some past life, or something? I don't force you to open up my threads.
