I picked Maidana since the fight got made but i just re watched Ortiz vs Lopez and i gotta say Josesito is one tough SOB, took everything ortiz had, traded punches with him, landing some very nice clean shots, even when he got stunned he still fought back and even backed ortiz up. He won that fight no because a lucky punch that broke victor's jaw, i had him up by a point . guy has lotta heart and a good chin. i dont think he can stop maidana but defiantly can get respect in the ring. and maybe win a decision if he fights smart. I still pick Maidana to win, expecting a better Maidana with the time hes been working with Garcia but a decision for josesito wouldnt surprise me at all.
Jose is a tough sob and i too had him up against ortiz. I think he came into the ortiz fight with a months notice. So expect him to be in better shape then he was in that fight and with better power. And thats why im picking him to beat maidana
i give him a 60/40 chance in a shoot out. but i think he will try to outbox madiana. something like Alvarado vs Rios II, Josesito playing the role of Madiana,.
