Didn´t knew he outboxed Tiger, as far as I remember I only watched their third bout :think.....well, in that case definitely Tiger wouldn´t outbox Hagler, at least not in that night...however I always said Fullmer was a decent boxer when he wants to be one......anyway...
But I still think Tiger was a jabber good enough, the Tiger of the fight with Carter would beat Hagler IMO.....but of course Hagler was much better than Carter in every aspect....and the fight would be close....in my opinion...

Harry Greb,at his best would beat Hagler with his assortment of punches from any and every angle. Hagler couldn't do much with Greb's great handspeed, roughness and ability to scoot away from danger if necessary. Marvin would be in with someone who never gave you the ball, and never tired... Ten times faster than Vito Antufeurmo, and
    tougher...

A mw Roy Jones, the one, for example, that beat Hopkins, would not have had a prayer against Hagler.

Do elaborate as to why he'd not have a prayer...

Ketchel was considered greatest by till 1980's, many discount old timers since. He went up agianst heavy champ and floored him, beat light heavy champ by ko, and wiped out middleweight division. All by age 24.

Greb could hang with Tunney, we don't need to see footage of him to now he was great.

Randy Turpin is a fighter who might beat Hagler, I give edge to Hagler though.

Hagler being a more recent fighter who had lot of fights telivised makes some rank him higher than he deserves.

unlimited stamina, unbelievable power in both hands, almost impossible to hit cleanly, and even stronger physically than Hagler. A complete nightmare

Roy fought against Hopkins with one healthy arm.

    He'd lose.

The Roy that fought Toney stands Hagler on his head. Styles.

    Prime Hagler was steel.

It would take a fighter that can keep him off balance and off his pressure and counter game. That's hard to do unless you have decent foot speed to go with it. A guy like Greb could rough him up on the inside, frustrate him and make it real dirty. That could be dangerous for Greb too. Hagler had heavy hands at middle and is capable of ending it.

Toney vs Hagler prime for prime would be some fight. I could see Toney winning a split decision or a close UD. His head movement on the inside and hooks would frustrate Hagler, but Toney can't stand in the same spot for too long or he gets tagged. I'd argue that Hagler has the better footwork, Toney the better head movement, especially on the inside.

Monzon I think would make the most boring of fights vs Hagler. The pre-Benny Paret version Emile Griffith could out-point Hagler in a tough and tight contest same as Ruben Carter. Nino Benvenuti maybe? Likely not. Eubank? A punchers chance.

    All prime for prime matchups.
