Well I have in Durans league guys like Armstrong, Robinson , Greb, Pep. Chavez was a great fighter but not a consensus top 10 pound for pound of all time. That's rarified air.

I absolutely disagree with you. Tank beat undefeated champions like Pedraza and Barrios until they faced him. There is a double standard at play by those of you who don’t like. When he knocks them out they are supposedly bums but okay for others to fight like Loma vs Pedraza. If Garcia had beaten Tank he would have become the face and darling of boxing but when Tank knocked out the the unbeaten undefeated Garcia all of a sudden he is a bum or not ready excuses excuses blah blah. When he knocks out Loma then the excuse is Loma too old. Haney sensibly for his health though not his bank balance is swerving Tank, Teo does not want it and Shakur wants it later.

A guy that wants to fight only the best fighters at all times and is willing to override their promoters in order to do it i.e. a guy like Hagler, i.e. a guy who does not exist today.

I don’t have any particular type of fighter I like but it has nothing to do with how they are outside of the ring, I like fighters who are just at home in the ring, it’s like it’s their natural habitat.
They take on all comers and seek out the best opponents, they have no fear and adapt to each opponent and each situation they face and enjoy it too.
I love to see a brutal knock out as much as anyone but I think the best way to win is to absolutely embarrass your opponent and outclass them by never being in range and just tagging them on the counter and wearing them down with expending as little energy as possible and breaking their soul to the point where you could knock them down with a feather is absolute perfection in boxing but that doesn’t happen.
The art of not getting hit is so massively underrated in boxing.
These are the idealistic pursuits of pure boxing, but it doesn’t matter how much value you put into your ideals of boxing it’s the displays of heart and spirit that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up and it’s those countless displays that sets boxing apart from any other sport

Ali bragged yeah but he also did what he said he was going to do when he bragged. He copied his bragging & I'm the prettiest & I cannot be beat from the old time wrestler Gorgeous George.
He said it fills the stadium Half come to see me win, Half to see me lose but they ALL come to see me fight !!!

The only thing Floyd proved was the fact he was terrified of Margarito . All the people there & the millions who have witnessed the many videos taken at the time know this fact. He doesn't belong in the same sentence as those other greats
