Tonight with the British fans booing Malignaggi and I also witnessed that sort of disgrace when Diaz fought Katsidis from the American fans. So its pretty much universal dumbassery.

Seriously, what type of loser feels the need to boo a sportsman that just fought his heart out doing something your lazy potato chip eating ass could only dream of doing?

Seriously, McGirst stoppage, Larry Merchants idiotic ramblings, and the booing of Malignaggi ruined what was a pretty great boxing night.

I thought the booing was uncalled for, the guy had just been stopped for the first time in his career, no need to rub salt in the wounds.

Couldn't agree more, mate. Nothing ****s me off more than armchair gangsters criticizing hard working fighters. I've even seen people hanging **** on Malignaggi for his show of emotion after the stoppage.

the short answer is Idiots who has NEVER been in the ring themselves.

the only time I've ever even thought about booing has been when its clear someone just quit...thats not in the Code of boxing.

Paulie is a warrior, even if hes a big mouth he diddnt deserve to be disrespected

I have seen some bhop rounds that deserved being boo'd. But I would never boo a fighter after losing. But, its happened to me and Im sure as lot of you other guys who have fought.

Stupid fans come from all countries.

Every fighter talks **** before a fight. Thats nothing new. Its between the fighters though to settle it in the ring. You dont need some overweight drunk slob booing a fighter he didnt put any effort into beating. Have some class. Hatton had class after the fight, he didnt even celebrate long before going over to Paulie and hugging him, his fans should learn some class too. Same for the American fans who booed Katsidis for no reason. Clearly Paulie was giving it his all, he was just outclassed. Let that be the end of it. No need to rub it in so to speak.

they booed him because he said he was too good to be stopped. It was a bit excessive but there were many drunk people there (which is no excuse). To be fair to Paulie, he was gracious enough to show them some respect. He won some admiration from me for his speech after the fight anyway.

I thought they started booing when he said he gave the fans an entertaining fight. That stood out to me cuz I was thinking wtf is he serious? They were prolly disappointed they spent their money for a fight like that
