What kind of non-PPV material will be getting...

I suspect in time (ten to fifteen years) all shows will be PPV. Some maybe slightly cheaper than the PPVs of today, and there might be some 'deals' if you order multiple PPVs, but I think it is the only realistic way of keeping the sport on TV.

 

Do you actually have Sky, Brixton? I fail to believe you do, you whinge about the lack of decent sport, cry about PPV's. Be honest, you can't afford Sky, can you?

 

He's a casual, ppv interrupts his ability to casually view the sport

 

I like to think of myself as a proper supporter of the sport. I attend almost every TV show that is on in the N.West, and always go to the smaller shows (VIP up here)

I was lucky enough to attend both Froch-Groves fights which I would of happily paid for.. My Sky subscription is for the other shows I cant make (London,Glasgow Cardiff etc) however can honestly say I flat out refuse to pay for these PPV's where they are below par cards... The Mitchell / Selby card was decent, but it was obvious they were stock piling all the good fights in order to make a bumper show.. which when im paying just under £90pcm for Sky I think is ridiculous, can you imagine they started PPV on the football - for premium games they've paid more for..

Think of it like this - you can watch Watford - WBA & Villa - Southampton for free. but your charged for Spurs - Chelsea etc... shocking!!

 

Nobody on these forums complained about paying for Mayweather vs Pacquiao, Froch vs Groves 2 or even Froch vs Kessler. What people will complain about is having the **** taken by greedy promoters and television networks.

Have you seen Sky Sports News lately? They've just swapped Fury and Klitschko's photographs for Kell Brook and Chaves's as though nothings changed in the advert for it. Comical really.

 

My point exactly, if the card is worthy of it, then of course we will stump up, that's a time honoured tradition I suppose. But the fact the MAIN EVENT (Fury Klit) has been kayboshed, cannot be ignored..

You have no vested interest. It is utterly irrelevant to you if it's on normal Sky or PPV. You are getting worked up as you are bitter you can no longer afford Sky.
