    "Mighty Mike" bolted from the ring immediately following the decision. The crowd was pro-Mike, but it was calm after the loss.

    The fight seemed close to me, but I thought Mike did enough to win, but I thought it was close.

    Briggs is still 20lbs overwheight, he won't be able to beat good fighters in that shape, his comeback will be shortlived.

    AWSUME PICS...........SHANNON LOST 62 LBS FOR THIS FIGHT........272 IS WAY TOO MUCH.............HE NEEDS TO LOOSE ANOTHER 20 LBS......IF TUA CAN DROP WEIGHT THEN SHANNON CAN DO IT....BUT WILL HE WANT TO???:smoke

    Seemed like it was only 5 or 6.

    But two of the punches he landed inflicted a hell of a lot of damage.

    Briggs looked as good as he was suppoose t oI guess.Routine win.

    I think he was trying to get'em out with a body shot.The right hand that put McGee down for the count was precedeed by a left hook to the body.

    272 is still to much weight.Doubt he can lose it aswell.

    If he had to lose a whopping 85 pounds to get to this weight, credit to him for what he's done.

    He should be able to stay at it and lose another 25 pounds, or so, but he's certainly making an effort.

    I recall seeing him a year or two ago when he was commentating on ESPN. Looked like a giant bear, he was so big.

    With his power and mouthing, maybe he can earn himself a shot at Haye, or one of the brothers. He's not old, and seems to be rededicated. Hopefully.

    He should drop a little more weight he looks a little bloated....he said in a n interview he was down to 254 but felt sick so he put some weight back on.....i think he should get to about 260 and that would be perfect for him and it will give him a little more mobility

    Man I was high on this guy in the early days, next Ali I thought but then we saw the lack of discipline reality of SB and then of course the LL loss which I think mentally ruined his career, maybe he has another title shot in him but I doubt it
