funny how pac is ducking the best of 147? He is fighting cotto next who is # 2 welterweight in the world while your boy mayweather is fighting a lightweight.

It's all up to Arum and anyone that knows a thing or two about him should easily guess that he will either try to make a rematch between the two or save one for someone else in his stable. Arum knows that if he creates any excuse people will buy it anyway since Mayweather is seriously hated so he doesn't need to use his brains to drag whoever wins out of it and look good doing so. Hell, his promotion of Margarito wasn't that difficult and people loved it and that's Margarito who has no skill whatsoever.

    "Test the waters"

That's the cutest nickname for CHERRYPICKING I ever heard...that was sweet:lol:

Floyd didn't "test the waters" when he moved to 135:deal

    Hmmm:think

He didn't even test the waters at 154:deal..He went straight for the title.

What did Oscar have when Pac fought him:think..nothing......but a fractured eyesocket c/o LITTLE STEVIE FORBES:rofl

    It's easier for a 36 y/o fighter to move up in weight...than move down.:rasta

the statement he makes is "I am a better fighter than you", the same statement Pac made when he beat Oscar and Hatton

wether that statement is true or not is up for debate.

"Plain and simple" to someone clueless. Arum has been saying since the Hatton fight was over that he plans to make a fight with Cotto next and invited Pacman to watch Cotto/Clottey and immediately get him to sign if that fight goes as planned.

Same thing regarding Margarito and Cotto back in 2007. Arum made it clear that his plan, and he made that clear late 2006, is to make Margarito/Cotto regardless of all the trash talk they used about Mayweather. If they wanted the fight they would have officially asked for it, yelling behind microphones is nothing official. His plan nearly went out the window when Margarito didn't listen to him and fought Williams, still that didn't prevent it as he had Cintron in plan for Margarito to look decent and go on with the ALREADY SIGNED/AGREED ON/PLANNED fight with Cotto.

It would be decent if at least ONE or TWO of the dumbass haters here show some knowledge of what was going on back then rather than just type in bull**** with no facts whatsoever to back them up. Anyone that knows Arum should know this is what he does best, he did it with Hearns before he fought Leonard and still continues to do the same.

    :yep:yep:yep

Arum uses hatred for Mayweather to promote his stable of punching bags.

Bob KNOWS he doesn't have a fighter than can beat Floyd..:deal

These tards have forgotten Arum's promotion of Mayweather back then and what he used to say to promote him. "This guy is the best fighter I've seen since Muhammad Ali", "I can't see anyone beating him"...etc

As soon as he leaves him "Mayweather doesn't want to fight guys that can beat him, guys like Clottey, Collazo and Margarito" :rofl

DLH also fought a blown up lightweight recently, remember that?. If you do remember it then you will also remember how people preferred to see him fight Margarito instead. If it wasn't for that "circus" of a fight, as almost all said" DLH took we wouldn't have witnessed Pac/Hatton and wouldn't discuss Pac/Cotto or Pac/Mayweather. We would have seen him fight Margarito and if he lost that one boxing would be the biggest joke of a sport with the "main man" suspsended for loading up his gloves to compete/lose to guys half his size.

DLH isn't a successful businessman for nothing and ******s here who are cabdrivers at best thought they knew more and claimed a fight with Margarito a million times better for boxing. Go figure.

    I don't care.

He's fighting Cotto who Roach already said was on the decline.

    Floyd is fighting JMM.

What fight is closer in weight and size?

    Hint - It's not Cotto-Pac.
