Clottey went into a defensive shell and was afraid to open up, and just hid behind his defence all night long allowing Pacquiao to tee off.

Margarito was beaten to a pulp and didn't offer much resistance, apart from 1 round where he had Pacquiao on the ropes.

A few fights after this Pacquiao fought Marquez in their 3rd fight, and only managed to throw 578 punches. Obviously because it wasn't one way traffic and Marquez was a much tougher fight.

Even in the fight against Bradley which was a controversial decision, Pacquiao actually threw less punches than Bradley who threw 839 compared to 751 for Pacquiao.

It's easier to have a higher workrate when the fight is a complete shut out in your favour, which Clottey and Margarito were for Pacquiao.

Its the old story. You have Floyd, who has many dark clouds over his career but is the cash cow of Vegas so he is "helped" by the vegas officials not to mention the state commission covering his butt on occasion.
Then you have Manny who has never failed a test or has never been caught red handed cheating, like Floyd in IV gate. So Floyd fans come up with " They are all doing it" purely because no one can offer a logical excuse for Floyd only " Theyre all doing it " lol

Margarito's face would tell you different aswell. Pacquiao won 11 rounds to 1 with one bad round, landing 474 punches doubling Margarito in overall punches landed, it was a dominant performance.
