What kind of style does Dirrel have and how good is he?

It was exactly like against Oganov, a power-hitter, that Dirrell showed what he can and what he can't do against Froch... He can't sit down with his punches so it has to be flashy-style, volume and tremendous accuracy to frustrate the stronger man, something like Dawson against Adamek. Yes, the kid is good, I mean, he's good like Ward is, well-schooled and wise, but he has something more and that is natural ability... Dirrell will beat Froch, I don't have any other idea.

It's a joke... don't take it too seriously. At least you didn't go overboard like Pimp C. He was having a fit. I've always said Mayweather has the ideal style and all boxers should adhere to "hit and not get hit" even if I like Pacquiao more if I was a boxer I'd rather fight like Mayweather.

I'll give you that...Whenever I need a dose of sleeping medicine...I watch that fight between Dirrell and Stevens...I must admit...Dirrell was doing some USA track meet type of **** during that fight.atsch I mean he looked horrible in that fight, but since then Dirrell has erased that fight with his past performances...He's getting better and better with each fight...I just hope he does well in the tourney.

 

The Stevens fight was the only full fight I've seen of Dirrell's, besides his highlights on YouTube, that's why i'm not as high on him as I am on Ward. I still think he can outbox and beat Froch though. Beating Froch is simple: box him, don't trade with him, that's all it takes.

yeah stevens was a mad puncher and dirrell i think didnt want to spoil his moment of limelight as a mainheader. sadly it worked backwards for him.

he is the weak link of the tourney, but i think personally, at this level it's the best top 10 fighters of a 700 man division, and so high a level that every stat will count...mild preaching there but still.

dirrel even though lacking a inside fight plan does his jab and shimmy manuvas well. you could say that abe is just as 1 dimensional as dirrell. with a looping left/right hook after doing nish for most of the round.

dirrell can/will stink out the joint in his future career. will froch be a style that he can outbox or wil it be a negative style that might making him comeforeard and get countered.

 

Cotto did run in the Margarito fight...... and that probably cost him the fight because instead of simply moving a little bit out of the way he ran to the complete opposite side of the ring and wasted energy.

 

yeah it's a tall order for that amount of time. froch walks his man onto shots really well. pascal got caught with an extended left hook while pascal was floating to his right plenty of times and magee was doing pretty well until he walked onto that peach right uppercut:dead

i am convinced that if froch just waits it out that the oppertunity will present itself. he may be a robotic roy jones copy, but he can do some solid technical work.
