    Pascal was trash!

Roy could have played a full basketball game 2 hours before the fight, and still wiped his ass with Pascal.

Listen... Charles, Foster, and Spinks. Those are the only three light-heavyweights in history I'd favor over a prime Roy.

That was exactly what I was thinking,,,a crushing puncher in front of Roy has a good chance

I think Erdei gives him a tough fight and loses an unpopular decision.

I also wanted to see Roy fight Kovalev when everyone was buying into that guy. that would have been the first time he would have went into the lion's den for a victory over a guy he would not be favored in. But the great one's can and do rise to the challenge.

Be honest, no one does it. Guys like Tarver, Dawson and Hopkins aren't getting it done.

Tarver lost to the best Jones he fought. And even that version of Jones was steeply declined. Dawson lost to a homeless man's interpretation of Jones in Pascal. Hopkins was already handedly beaten by Jones. I see no reason to think it'd go much different at 175.

Alverez (both Storm and Canelo) are way too light at puncher, and neither are gonna be out-boxing Jones. Kovalev is wayyyyy too soft to the body. And being a primary jabber isn't a good thing. It'd probably look like a prolonged version of the Hill fight.

Beterbeiv is the best LHW since Jones, or at least top 3. And he doesn't really have a prayer himself.

Roy vs Canelo... and Roy thought he got screwed on the cards in the 88 Olympics...

    Just wait.

Roy was known for KOing durable guys, as you know, he could very well KO Canelo. It's only so long someone can take having their head used as a speed bag.

I have no doubt that Roy would stop Canelo if Canelo actually opened up and went for it. But we all know that wouldn't happen.

Jones would put Canelo into survival mode very quickly, and Canelo wouldn't open up much outta fear of being countered.

Canelo would be content to lose every round. And although we joke about the corrupt judging, the fight would be tooooooooo one sided for even Oscar's judges to find a way.

I literally think the only ways of beating RJJ, is to chin him straight and get a fluke KO, or be good enough at swarming to out-work him and get a UD. Given that he absolutely slaughtered everyone who walked onto his shots, Swarming isn't an option and no-one managed to chin so that's not exactly probable either.

The only two LHWs in history I think would have the capability to keep up with a prime Jones and beat him are Ezzard Charles and John Henry Lewis. And one of those is based in complete mythology and Charles is one of the top 5 fighters in history.

Canelo wouldn't have a prayer in church hall.
