What living boxers/trainers can teach you the art of cross-guard?

    Was wondering if there is actually a continuation of its tradition, or is it slowly becoming a relict of old times with no students to pick it up after the likes of Foreman and Witherspoon hanged the gloves.

    The best ever imo was the Great GREAT Azumah Nelson, also imo the Greatest boxer from the African continent, he puts most fighters to shame...

    I recall Cotto using the cross arm defense before on occasion.

    And as others have said Azumah Nelson also used that form of defense .

    Yeah, Cotto seem to use it very effectively. I wonder if a certain trainer specifically taught him that or if it’s something he just kind of picked up on his own.
