I mean he had punching power but so did other boxers of his time.

He doesn't even seem that technical but what I do notice is that he is incredibly accurate and once he hits his opponent with a combination they basically do nothing but shell up until they get knocked out

I would ask these kinds of questions in Classic Forum.

That way you're not gonna get 50,000 ****** answers about how he wouldn't stand a chance against the Klitschko's etc.etc.

Footwork , walking his opponent down - cutting off the ring were his best attributes outside of concussive knockout power in both hands.
That made up for his average technical skills.
Would destroy any active HW today.

Why did so few fighters attempt to counter him or go on the offensive? Only Ali did it after tiring him out.

I know Frazier tried and it ended up in him getting ktfo'd

He was so good because he was a freak of nature in an era of undersized men, he'd be a small hw nowadays and hardly as succesful.

he was slow as molasses and had average boxing skills, so his main assets were his humongous power, size and reach

I agree with all of this..

Especially that he would destroy any active HW today. Heck, he even came back 20 years after he lost his title to Ali and won it back.:yep

I don't see anyone of today beating Prime Foreman.

His ability to cut down distance. His power, his timing. It was insane.

The 90s were filled with undersized men?

Did you miss the 1990s? Obviously a shot, older than dirt, over-weight and slowest possible Foreman was good enough to compete. Pretty sure in his peak he would wipe the entire HW clean today - and that includes the K2s, always trying Haye and any other HW.

    On topic -
Foreman had excellent footwork and fought well inside. Naturally gifted in terms of strength and endurance.

Foreman's power was extremely overrated and he benefited from being in a weak division with weak contenders.

No he wasn't, not with the best at least. Foreman's comeback career is a joke.

His only accomplishments were 2 valiant losing efforts against Holy and Morrison, and a victory over glass jawed Moorer with a lucky punch, in a fight Foreman was thoroughly losing, he didn't beat anyone of note.

Get real nostalgists, Big George would be Boy George today, his physical assets would be hardly as impressive as they were in the 70's, K2 would beat prime Foreman, although I give him a puncher's chance against pretty much anyone in the divisioni
