No way! Knocking out an inactive and fragile Cooney should not be exhibit A in terms of establishing what a great puncher a fighter is. Cooney never was the most durable of fighters, and combined with his long history of drug/alcohol abuse and inactivity, his durability didn't figure to get any better. I admit George was a powerful puncher during his comeback, but to say he was the hardest hitting heavyweight at the time seems a bit of a stretch!
