I don't get how people really think a 190 pound guy from the 1910/1920 era can compete with a HW monster from the 1990's??

You seen Demspey v Willard, all you need is right there. Brilliant footwork, excellent power, some wonderful head movement...when he goes up against Firpo, he looks easier to hit but very hard to put away, good punch resistance.

Of course, nobody is comparing Willard to Lewis, but that would be ridiculous, but I don't envisage a first round KO for Lewis, or anything like that. I think it would go more like Lewis-Tyson, with much more danger for Lewis in those middle rounds...

Cant see how Foreman could beat Lewis let alone Dempsey. He may have been a destructive puncher but he is far too slow to get anywhere near Lennox.

Lewis could bomb you out quick, he could grind you down, or he could give you a boxing masterclass like he did to Tua.

There was one way, and one way only, shown to beat Lennox Lewis. Starch him with one punch. Two guys did it, but Lewis definitively proved he was better than both of them.

He was never dominated, never copped a beating, never got a gift decision. The closest he came to losing a decision was Ray Mercer, in a ring the size of a phone booth, in a fight that Lewis won.

Fought everyone he should have, Bowe and not-shot Tyson both ducked him.

    Top 3 ATG for sure.
