    I never rated Solis and I don't think if he was leaner he'd be any good or relevant. B class on his best day.

    Yes but his win over Ray Austin to get his title shot, is very similar in level to the Ortiz win over Jennings to get his title shot.

    Both Jennings and Austin lost to Wlad and were highly ranked.

    Solis was much better. The unfortunate problem with him, was he lost twice against Thompson when he was over 265 pounds. And the the 247 pound version of him was still too fat to fight Vitali, resulting to a freak injury. Biggest waste of talent ever.

    It isn't. Jennings was better, had a better resume, and gave Wlad a tougher fight.
