I was born in '83....saw Tyson v Bruno in '89....Tyson stole a piece of my heart that day as did the sport of boxing.

    my old mum
typical irish family they all watched boxing on tv and i was brought up in an era of 3 tv channels and 1 tv per household and you watched whatever they watched also 17 million viewers for boxing was common then

to this day my mum now 76 throws more left hooks and shouts at the screen for her favourite.
she even looks forward to getting up at 4 am in the morning to watch big american fights.
natural that i picked up her love of boxing especially when she made us join a boxing club when we were little boys to make men of us.

I always used to shadow box in my teens thinking it was funny cuz I listened to Wu-Tang. I grew up in a conservative Christian family but thanks to LimeWire I found a way to hear secular music and then it just became a lifestyle.

The irresistible force paradox is a classic paradox formulated as "What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?"

It's an amazing thing to watch two top athletes at the prime of their careers go toe to toe. Hearns v Leonard, Ali v Frazier, Tyson v Holyfield, etc. No other sport does it better.

The first fighter that I ever liked was Ali. Seeing Ali beat Foreman as a 5 year old and then watching all of Ali's fights is what got me interested in boxing.

Todd498 said he loved boxing ever since Yusef Mack came out of the closet. That's when he knew he could be a true fan of this sport because someone was like him and he could relate to being in hardcore man on man porn too.

RIP Limewire and Napster. That place killed my computer, but I got a lot of good music out of it. All that underground Makaveli/2pac songs.

Watching Manny Pacquiao, just the 'thump thump thump' sound that goes off whenever he throws. I was I think 13? When I first saw him fight, so 10 years ago. Never got proper into watching boxing live until I left home even though I trained and competed as a teen, my fam didn't have a sports channel and free to air didn't play the boxing in Aus, so I would just YouTube highlights
