Hey guys, obviously with it being less than a month to FW's Super Card there has been a lot of threads on the Sept 18th card. Got me wondering listening to Buncey's podcast, how many or which fights in particular would hurt the card if they were cancelled for whatever reason. I mean in my opinion there's so many great fights there you can even take the proposed main event of Cleverly-Murat out and the cards still worth my £50. I just wonder if Barker-Macklin and perhaps Sexton-Chisora fight didnt happen would it prevent guys who have not got their tickets and are undecided to keep their cash in their pockets?

I'd be pissed if one of Macklin-Barker, Brook-Jennings and Enzo-Frenkel didn't come off. If all 3 fell through I'd cry.

I tend to agree that any of them could fail and the other bouts save the bill from being a disappointment. Personally, I'm looking forward to the Enzo fight the most so I'd be gutted if that fell through. Macklin v Barker then Chisora v Sexton are probably the next two on my list that I'm most anticipating, so they'd be the onest I'd next be disappointed about.

Great bill though and maybe I'm being optimistic in thinking that it will hold itself together.

It can lose 1/2 fights except for Barker vs Macklin.

You could do Barker vs Macklin with 4/5 of the other fights and it will be ok.

So you lose Clev-Murat, Brook-Jennings, Sexton-Chisora, Enzo-Frenkel and Rhodes-Konecy or Degale-Dilks and thats a ppv card?? Leaving you with Barker-Macklin, 1 of the 2 above, gavin, broadhurst and heffron and thats worth the massive PR drive that will come this month? Nah Rob 1/2 of the card out and its screwed

No No No. When I said 1/2 I mean 1 or 2 not half. you could have

    Barker vs Macklin
    Cleverly vs Murat
    Enzo vs Frenkel
    Sexton vs Chisoa
    DeGale vs Dilks
    Gavin vs Kelly
    Broadhurst vs Donnely

Lose Rhodes vs Konecny and Brook vs Jennings (or any 2 other fights apart from Barker vs Macklin) and its still OK.

Shoulda said 1 or 2 not 1/2 (half) then!!! Yea I agree, Warrens plan is to play the odds assume he'l lose the odd 1 and still have a good card. Out of left field this 1 but the Brummie lads sell a lot of tickets when boxings in town, lose Gavin/Broadhurst and Macklin-Barker this could hit the revenue big time. I remember Gavin's debut at the NIA on the Skelton-Rogan undercard a ton of people left after Frankie's fight and missed out on the quality main event

Barker-Macklin would sour the night a bit for me, really looking forward to that scrap

Barker vs Macklin is the only one that could do serious damage to the quality of the bill if it was off.

The rest of it, as Rob says take 1 or 2 of them off and with Barker vs Macklin still there's, it's still a quality card.

any of them imo, maybe with the exception of the Rhodes fight, as it should be him fighting for the vacant 154 WBC title.

I was annoyed when the Woodhouse-Gavin fight was called off.

Really any need for the 'J'?

For those going to the fights you'd still get value if a couple dropped out. Not the case if purchasing it on PPV,it would really hurt figures

Yea its a signature, dont see you bitching at buncey when he signs his post with adios so get a life picking at, in this case, 1 ****ING LETTER of my post. Twat.

As for your 2nd line, thats even more pathetic. So its now better value if your going to a fight at minimum £40 than watching it at home for £15. The thread's asking people's personal opinions on who/how many it'd take to negatively affect the card for them not tv company or FW. read it properly rather than the signature and you'd have realised that. Twat x2.

This. Macklin - Barker is ppv worthy on it's own in my opinion.
