Millions of threads have been started about Pac vs. Mayweather, Pound for pound greatness etc.
We all know Mayweather has the skill, Pac has the fire, Mayweather has the precious "0" and Pacquiao has the resume.

My question is not about who would be victorious in a head to head, but my question is the following:

Since Mayweather is the naturally bigger man compared to Pacquiao ( 5ft8 and 72 reach vs. 5ft6 1/2 and 67 reach), what would the possible results of a match between these two mean on the P4P scale?

In my book, a win or draw for Pacquiao would mean he's the better P4P since he's at a disadvantage height and reach wise and naturally quite a bit smaller. He started at 108 pounds.

What would a win for Floyd mean though? Would he be better PvP than Pac who started at 108 pounds?

A clear dominating victory for Floyd would mean for me he's the better PvP, but what about a narrow fight? A SD or a very close UD on points?
I would not be sure in the latter case what that would mean on a PvP basis.

    What do you think?

And if you are doubting as well about this, can you understand why Mayweather might be reluctant to fight Pacman? (win or lose -- it would be a lose lose situation for him.. unless it's a decisive victory)

If you are clearer about this than I am or completely disagree with my reasoning please let me know why.
The above are just some random considerations i have thinking about this.
Please do not turn this into a nuthugger/hater contest. I just want to know what you think.

    Bump.

I'd hate to see this thread die without answer.

look. a year ago i would have said that Pac was too small to move up to 140. Now he is likely gonna be a heavy favorite against the lineal 140lb champion in his next fight.

    How ****ed up is that.

as for yuor question, it depends how the fight plays out. Hindsight is always important for these kind of answers.

If ever the fight comes true, he who fought with the bigger heart and stronger determination, win or lose, is the better p4p king.
