I keep reading post sfter post about how Floyd will run his way to a UD, or Floyd will fight in survival mode. I don't think Floyd will be anywhere except in front of Hatton, or giving him angles. You can best believe that Floyd will be putting alot behind his shots. This isn't just a fight for Floyd, it's personal, and he wants to make a statement! I don't think Floyd has any intentions on jut outboxing Hatton which he could rather easily, and prolly when all 12rds. He wants to punish Ricky, and he will from the moment that bell rings.

Alot of ppl on here used to say Hatton was/is the bigger stronger guy well I beg to differ w/the strength aspect. I think ppl make all pressure fighters out to be the extremely strong guys, and boxer movers out to be sorta weaker. It's a myth to me. I doubt Hatton is stronger than Floyd, and I doubt he hits harder. I'm almost possitve Floyd has stronger legs.

Heart? It's funny how Floyds heart is questioned and I'm curious as to why that is? Someone please ans that for me!! The guys fought w/injured ribs, an injured shoulder, multiple hand injuries, and has never bailed out of a fight or loss a fight:nono His will power, and determination are underestimated and you'll all find out what more he's made of in Dec. Hatton will come hard, and come strong, but Floyd will be waiting w/a bag full of Skill, Will, Speed, Determination, Power, and the ability to make Hatton look bad if he doesn't polish up! Oh yeah...and if you think Hatton will stop Floyd w/a body shot you're folling yourself. Hatton has a nice left hook to the body, but Floyd's never really been affected by them, but Hatton on the otherhand has, and Floyd is a very good body puncher. Hatton better find a way to protect his!!

    I'm going w/Floyd by stoppage!!

If Mayweather trades with Hatton, then he will lose. The best tactic for Mayweather is to unload with combinations, hold, get a quick break and then move. Repeat until the last 3 rounds, THEN do the Mayweather Marathon.

I believe Hatton is a much harder body puncher, but to the dome, I disagree w/you. His left hook is awesome to the body, but outside of that he seems to have alright power. BTW...Castillo was old, and shot! Against Gatti Floyd hit Gatti alot, but he never really threw one planted solid shot. Even when he hit Gatti and he went down he didn't plant but he only intended on throwing one shot. If you ask me They have simular power, but Mayweather is much more accurate! Hatton's record makes him look as if he has real good power, but that's decieving once you look at the opponents on his record!

Btw...Hatton hit Zoo w/several hard body, and head shots, and never dropped him so that can go both ways, and it's not like Zoo don't go down!!

    Comical!!

You guys act like Hatton has this iron chin!! Hatton will be taking massive punishment, and he won't even see half the punches coming. He'll not go down once, but a couple times. Floyd has a better chin, and a tighter defense.

Did you see the Baldo-Fight this weekend? Baldo's chin is iron Forrest couldn't stop him from coming at him and he can crack. No way in hell was PBF going to be able to hurt or KO Baldo. PBF's gameplan against Baldo couldn't have been better.
The funny thing about it is people act as if Hatton is a murderous puncher when he's clearly not. PBF has faced bigger punchers in Chico, Zab and Oscar and wasn't fazed, Hatton will be no different.
I agree with Biggame this is personal and PBF has wanted to beat down Hatton for a long time. PBF by wide UD or TKO.:deal

    Castillo was old and shot.

Gatti must have been young and fresh against floyd then???

If Mayweather continues to utilize his jab and keep moving then Hatton will not be a problem for him. Mayweather is a very fast boxer and can see the punches coming to move out the way.

Floyd beat any bit of a jaw and will Gatti had left out of him! Also if Gatti had lasted as long w/Floyd as he did w/Baldo he'd not only get dropped a couple times and stopped brutally, but he'd probably be brain dead!!

Actually no, we posted at the same time. That was in reply to the other dude. The Gatti fight was the last time Floyed stood with anyone. At this point I wouldn't be confident of him standing in front of a paper bag.

Never said Gatti was, but he certainly didn't look like Castillo did in his last fight, and as a matter of fact his career was revived, and on the upside!
