Yep and Oscar has good defense. What will the no defense Hatton do around the 6th round when he's being countered and beaten to the punch? No one has been able to really answer this. How will hatton cope?

PBF does not have to run against Hattoon he can stay in the pocket all night long and hurt Hatton, making him miss and making him pay through the middle. Hatton's asked for it now he is going to get it. People who are making comparison with the PBF vs ODLH fight are way off base. PBF will stop Hatton inside 8-9rounds either by knockout or the referee stopping the bleedy Hatton from taking on any more punishment. The Hitman will become the Hit Me Man.

 

Hatton survived v Urango???................ man I dont mind balanced stuff but this is way off base. Hatton was hurt by a body blow by Urango in the fight that is clear. His pace dramatically drifted off throughout the last quarter...admittedly, but he was a class above Urango. Anytime any remote flaw is picked up on from Hatton's game it gets over exagerated 10 fold. There was no element of survival to it.

119 - 109 on all the judges scorecards. Not a bad way to survive.

 

I agree Urango was not in Hatton's class. I was merely pointing out he didn't survive in that bout. I accept the last round v Collazo that Ricky was holding for dear life, but certainly not v Urango.

 

No one states Hatton will not get hit. In fact it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that he does get hit. It will happen it is inevitable. Ricky's defence is offence, he will walk through punches to get to his man. He will be countered all night make no bones about it. But he WILL keep coming, and he will let his hands go and connect.

 

He's an inside fighter. That's what happens, clinches, holding, short hooks to the body, uppercuts. It's not Ballet in there, Hatton will hold PBF, that is clear. He will also hook to the body, uppercut, all night. He remains active, that's why even though he looked bad vs Collazo he still put points on the board, because he's aggressive and active, even in the clinches. You may not like his style but the lad never takes a backward step in the ring, and all credit to him for that.

 

I've seen wishful thinking before, but anyone even dreaming that Hatton can beat Mayweather should wake up and apologize.Not to say Hatton is soft, or even denying that Rick is one of the best in the world.But Mayweather is a rare talent who works his ass off to be excellent.And he is.Floyd is also a classless thug, with a third world mentality, but he's the best..by far.
