Joe Calzaghe shits a brick whenever Pavlik's name is mentioned. You KNOW when a fighter is ducking someone you just know without doubt like Lewis on the rematch with Vitali Joe is ducking Pavlik it's that simple and all Joe & Enzo's comments to the opposite are bollocks.

 

I believe a prime Calzaghe would school Pavlik, however the Calzaghe of today is a different matter. I still believe he would win today but it would be a lot closer and he has to prove it in the ring.

Calzaghe says many different things in the press so im not going to jump on him just yet when he says the Jones fight will probably be his last as it really might not. But if Calzaghe beats Jones and Pavlik beats Hopkins and Joe still doesn't fight Kelly then i will be quite dissapointed in him.

Pavlik can't do anything with Joe. Joe doesn't struggle with guys that come to him in a straight line and are always on the offensive. He only worries about defensive counterpunchers and movers.

Calzaghe would school Pavlik like he schooled Lacy and Kessler. It probably wouldn't be as convincing as Lacy, but that's cause Joe is getting on a bit now. He could still beat Pavlik though, who hasn't even cleaned out Middleweight or fought a ranked SMW and is suddenly giving it the biggun.
