What makes anyone think Pavlik can beat Calzaghe?

What was your prediction on Hopkins - Calzaghe again? :think

 

Calzaghe easily beat Lacy and Kessler,2 full blown supermiddleweights. Pavlik is only a middleweight who has not shown anything that JL and MK hadn`t. Read betwen the lines. :blurp

Yep. And all he had to do was say, I have one fight left, it will be RJJ for the payday. He would have done better to NEVER mention Pavlik by name. Instead he just made matters worse saying Pavlik wasn't ready, he was doing Pavlik a favor, it was Pavlik that didn't want the fight. He just dug himself deeper and deeper.

Edit. And all he had to do was use Pavlik's own words. Kelly has stated that he will quit at 30. Joe could have come off much better saying he is already 6 years past what Kelly plans on doing.

 

If I were Pavlik I'd be be more worried about beating Hopkins then Joe at
