one on one but also its the most honest sport. you get to where yo do in th game by real hard work and talent. also they are the best trained hardest trained men in the world
Still think at talents MMA and Boxing is equal. In Boxing you fight and think at the same time, need body stamina, figures, speed, hard training, most of all power. There are still many though. At MMA, its pure skills and everything, your opponents won't be fighting just by hands but by feet and body also. Its a mixed martial arts where either you fight a grappler, a brawler, a boxer, or submissionist. Though of course Boxing still leads for the people.
When a fight is a good one, ebb and flow, 2 bad asses goin at it, it's like 36 minutes of the 2 min. drive at the end of a football game or bottom of the ninth in game 7 world series.
How dedicated you have to be to suceed in boxing. If you want to achive someting in boxing you have to live boxing...simple as that.
Its the tension it creates in me when a fight is on, especially when its a fight that really interests me. No other sport instils that feel inside me, and its, that FEEL, that makes boxing to me, the best, I FEEL the tension, rather than just witnessing it (This is from a spectator viewpoint)
it is not the best sport on the world though, due to the fact of 4 belts, shitty promoters and so on.
its a 1 on 1 sport. The preparation required to go into a fight is extreme, and when you lose after that kind of preparation in training it takes a lot of mental strength to get back into training camp after a loss. Losing in other sports is pretty superficial, and you can blame teammates. In boxing you got yourself, and when you lose its physical you probably took a beating/soundly out boxed/ or came up short which is just as bad. Boxing takes so much out of you, you have to live like a soldier to make weight..I mean theres just way to many things. Some of these people who talk **** about boxers being this and that have no idea how difficult this sport is.
That was back in the primitive days of MMA, now it involves mixed martial artists, in other words athletes well round in the different arts so they can be well versed at every aspect.
