I rewatched a bunch of his fights and some I had not seen previously, before the Crawford fight and my impression was 'is that it?' Solid but that's it. Laughable he was top 3 p4p ever.
His luck was special. He just happened to be the perfect nationality (American) who was the perfect race (black) fighting in the perfect weight class (147) who was promoted by the perfect promoter (PBC) and was just good enough to be a beltholder to be glorified and served to the public as the next best thing until it was revealed that he wasn't.
Yeah, nobody said that shyte before the fight. Only after Crawford obliterated Spence, his fanboys started to make excuses. Before the fight Spence was supposed to destroy Crawford who was in their eyes ducking him, lol.
