If you run your mouth and are arrogant you get the publicity. Hopkins, although a P4P fighter, doesnt make huge entertaining bouts but is popular, Malignaggi, his last fight was a gift and all he does is run around the ring with a headband on, Mayweather, although I personally enjoy watching him box anybody, a lot of people consider some of his fights boring. But when boxers run their mouths they develop a love/hate relationship with the fans, so people watch their fights to root for em, or hope they get KTFO.

 

After watching mayweather in the flesh against hatton he made a believer out of me. But paulie is like witter a poor mans floyd.

 

oh yeah, I didn't mean to compare paulie to floyd because it's obvious as soon as they enter the ring there really isnt much of a comparison

 

He's American and has a shiny belt. This puts him ahead of all the other contenders who hold equally shiny belts.
